That makes Mohammed a perfect fit for the false prophet since he is his known for his Quran, and has without question been distinguished from others by it, for 1400 years, with 1/4 of mankind in the world following him today. Muhammad's Quran is the "semeion" that he "wrought" before his followers - Muslims - the "beast".

We learn in Revelation 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast {Islam - Muslim}, or the number {666} of his name.

As we can see from that verse a physical mark is not required since all that is necessary is for one to have the "name" of the beast - Islam. Many suggest the mark in the forehead represents thoughts, and in the right hand representing actions, which could be valid as well as demonstrated through Islamic terror attacks. Through this ethnographic hermeneutic we find that with the exception of those located in the tiny little strip of land of Israel protected by the democracy of the Israeli Jewish State, almost the entirety of John's "whole world" has already been marked by the name of the beast today! That name is Islam! That would suggest that John's prophecy of the mark of the beast is fulfilled prophecy! Wouldn't that also be a more conservative approach, since it indicates a possibility, that Jesus could return in final judgment this very day? Are you ready for "the day of the Lord"?
