While no shortage of Christians agree on the first six kingdoms detailed on the prior page as revealed through this Yahoo search, this is where the hermeneutic wheels begin to spin off of pop-eschatology, some even proclaiming the seventh or eighth to be a man. Pretty amazing since it is an undeniable matter of historical fact that in 639 the Islamic Caliph Omar seized Jerusalem during the imperialistic conquest of the Islamic First Jihad, as the seventh conquering kingdom in this succession, that had "not yet come" in John's day.

Let's take another look at Revelation 13:

Revelation 13:3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

After conquering nearly the whole known world, the Islamic Empire lost it's power when it was mortally wounded during the Islamic First Jihad in the Battle of Tours as prophesied by Daniel's 1335, but Islam did not loose it's seat. The Islamic First Jihad had expanded for the "short space" of 152 years to it's peak (5 prophetic months, in day-year language, per Revelation 9:10). (Good video on that chapter). Western powers eventually healed the "deadly wound" of the Islamic beast by the transfer of wealth through oil purchase, along with weapons sales, financing and empowering the Islamic Second Jihad in the image of the Islamic First Jihad.

Revelation 13:4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who [is] like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

Who indeed is able to make war with a kingdom "beast", the combatants of which wear civilian clothing, while hiding and attacking from among women and children, to maximize civilian casualties for propaganda purposes. Who is able to make war with a suicidal army that grew ever larger as it went along because of the promise of plundered goods and captive women to rape in this world, with multiple virgins to defile that are promised in the chicken and wine serving bordello in the "paradise" of Muhammad's overactive carnal imagination, of the next.

Ishaq:475 We obeyed our Prophet's orders when he called us to war. When he called for violent efforts we made them. The Prophet's command is obeyed for he is truly believed. He will give us victory, glory, and a life of ease.

The false prophet Muhammad's followers don't realize it but as the former Bible verse indicates, they worship Satan through the spirit of antichrist, while being compelled to deny the whole subject of the Gospel as an article of their faith in Muhammad alone.

The undeniable historical fact of the matter is that the false prophet Muhammad's Islamic kingdom "beast" conquered the Roman Empire. Now let's look at our verses again:

Revelation 17:10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, [and] the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. 11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.

So the Islamic First Jihad is the king/beast that had "not yet come" in John's day, but was to conquer the Roman Empire in Jerusalem over 500 years later. Characteristic of the succession of kingdoms that "was" before the Roman Empire of John's day is that they were led by Satan to persecute and murder God's people. The Roman Empire that "is" in John's day certainly did its share of persecuting Jews and Christians as well, but later on tolerated and even advanced the Roman "church" (though unfortunately to a lesser extent the ecclesia). Following the Roman Empire was the false prophet Muhammad's Islam as yet another satanic kingdom that persecuted and murdered God's people, just as the Greek Empire before John's day, and those in succession before it. Followers of Muhammad even engage in recycled and thinly veneered pagan Arabian Star Family worship rituals.

Islam conquered nearly the whole known world, until stopped by Charles Martel in the Battle of Tours France, as discussed earlier as having been pinned mathematically by Daniel's 1335. The Islamic First Jihad grew in power and expanding territory, for the "short space" (relative to kingdoms) of 152 years to its zenith (or about 5 months in the day-year language of prophecy suggested in Revelation chapter 9), at which time Muhammad's Islamic empire began to shrink and wane in power.

How can Muhammad's Islamic First Jihad be the seventh and "even" be the eighth? The Greek word "hepta" translated as "seven" in this verse is also translated as "seventh" in the KJV. Sir Isaac Newton suggested:

"….. it is said, five of the seven Kings are fallen, and one is, and another is not yet come; and the Beast that was and is not, being wounded to death with a sword, he is the eighth, and of the seven: he was therefore a collateral part of the seventh."

What conquering kingdom ascended in power while occupying John's "whole world", after the Islamic First Jihad, that was a collateral part of the false prophet Muhammad's Islamic kingdom's First Jihad?
